  I use painter's tape on my canvases to help with the placement of a border or something specific I want in a specific area. The tape adheres great and leaves no sticky residue when removed. I prefer painter's tape to masking tape for the above reasons. This tape leave no sticky residue on any surface I've used it on. Will buy again when I need more tape.
