In the box you get the Sigma 18-35mm lens, a zipper carrying pouch to hold the lens, the Sigma Canada warranty card and the manual.
My experience:
I bought this lens for my Canon Rebel T6i to use it as my main lens. I unfortunately was one of those people who received a copy that had major front focusing issues with the Auto Focus. Initially I wasn't gonna buy a second copy but this lens was very tempting and it does everything I wanted. For me it's basically three lenses in one.
So I decided after 鶹 processed my refund I was gonna try and roll the dice again and buy a second copy. I had zero interest in buying the $80 dock and I didn't want to spend hours doing all the calibrations myself to get the Auto Focus to work, so I was prepared to send my second copy in with my T6i to Sigma Canada under warranty if the second copy of the lens had issues as well. (I'm not a fan of sending my camera out in the mail...but who is, right?) I'm very glad to say that I didn't have to do any of that! as my second copy worked flawlessly out of the box!
I'm very happy with the amazing amount of detail this lens provides. The 1.8 aperture is great for night time photography and the 18mm makes it a great wide angle lens for my APS-C sensor during the day. I've also been able to get great looking portrait shots at 35mm. I highly recommend buying this lens if you have the cash to do so. The refund process might be a little long if you're not a fan of sending the lens and your camera body in the mail, but it's honestly worth it.
I was gonna rate it three stars because of the hassle I had with it but the amazing quality of the lens made me bump it up a star. I would've rated it 5 stars if my first copy was as great as the second one I received. I highly recommend this lens but be warned you may need to try a copy or two. also major props to the 鶹 support reps for everything they've done for me regarding this order.
