- Reviewed in Canada on January 25, 2020I just got this today and I used it as soon as I recieved it. We followed the recipe in the instruction booklet and the classic waffles were DELICIOUS! Also, the beeping noise people are complaining about isn't all that loud, I guess it just depends on your tolerance, its not as loud as a smoke alarm, but loud enough if your are in another room on the same floor you can hear it. Also it's very easy to clean, the plates come off so easy and even without me spraying it the waffles came off the non stick surface effortlessly. It is heavy, it is large, keep in mind it makes 4 waffles at a time. They are a good size, similar to the thick waffles from the Eggo brand. There was no overflow, keep in mind I used the recipe in the booklet the machine comes with and I poured slightly less than half a cup in the CENTER of each mold. I like my waffles slightly crispy, and this machine made them exactly like the Eggo thick waffles.
