  We use these to make lunch box cakes for my Pastry Arts class. They were very easy to use and clean. We do spray them before putting the cake mix in. We discovered that 1/4 cup of mix is perfect for the cakes. If you want the cake to puff up a little more, use 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons. They make a lovely 3 layer lunch box cake.
