  I've been using this specific adapter for 2 years and it's still working great. I had the green one prior to this and it lasted 6 years.
  
  I leave this plugged in all the time and it gives me the ability to have additional gauges on my tablet that wouldn't normally be available on my car.
  
  Only issue I've had with this adapter is that the check engine light would sometimes be turned on with a communication bus error. I've narrowed this down to the app on my tablet I was using. If it was running and trying to access the adapter when I started the car it would cause the cel to turn on. If I didn't have the app running the cel never seemed to turn on.
  
  Not sure why this is an issue since the last adapter never did that but I believe it's mainly a problem with the software and not the adapter itself.
