  I only read this book because my boss raved about it before it got popular on TikTok. Then TikTok raved about it so thought I should give it a chance. I’m going to be honest it wasn’t what I expected and the writing style wasn’t really for me, but as I read on I got used to it and ended up enjoying the book. I gave it three stars because it was a good and easy read and I liked the unreliable narrator. If I read this in high school I would’ve loved this book, but as an adult I can say that I enjoyed it, but I don’t see the hype. The ending did break my heart, but there are other books I’ve read the gutted me. I still recommend this book if you’re looking for something quick and enjoyable.
