This oscillating multi-tool comes with a good variety of accessories, which makes it useful for different small DIY tasks like sanding, cutting, or scraping. The variable speed control is helpful depending on the project, and changing accessories is quick and simple. It performs well for light to moderate home projects. For heavier tasks it may not feel as solid as professional tools, but overall it’s a versatile addition to a DIY toolkit.

I am so impressed with this oscillating tool! It's actually replaced my brand name one, simply because of the toolless blade changing ability. Maybe this is on every new model of oscillating tools, but my older one certainly doesn't have it.

By toolless, I mean there is a lever on the top of the tool that loosens the grip on the blade, allowing you to easily swap or replace the blade. On mine, I need to find an Allen key, loosen it, replace the blade and tighten it back up again. It's a bit of a pain, but you get used to it over time. This was a feature I didn't even know I needed until I learned about it. So much better!

That feature alone makes me love this.

As for the rest of it, if you've seen one oscillating tool, you've them all. There's not much to them. Turn it on and start plunging (or buffing or sanding). The only difference between models is the power, but for just about everyone, a 2.4amp tool will work just fine and not bog down too often. If that happens, pull out and plunge for a narrower cut.

This GALAX PRO tool is what I would call "medium loud", meaning it is in range of most tools of this nature. It has 6 different speed levels with an easy to find dial on the back of the machine. The only issue with it being there is if you are pushing from the back trying to get leverage, your hand may accidentally roll the dial. But that shouldn't be a common occurrence.

This kit comes in a very nice storage case with velcro straps to hold it in place and 3 pockets for storing various blades. It also come with several different blades and accessories to get you started. In fact, the storage case is the second best thing I like about this because it is super handy to have everything in one place.

I am super happy with this tool and, as long as it lasts, it will be my go to oscillating tool.
