I got this for my Dyson V15 Detect, and while it snapped on easily and fits snug, it’s clearly a step down from the original. It glides fine on hardwood and picks up fine dust and crumbs from my area rug, but not as deeply or effectively as the OEM head. It’s missing things like the rear seal and height adjustment, and you can feel that difference in performance. The anti-tangle design does help with long hair in the house, and it’s a bit quieter, which is nice. The plastic feels lighter, but the build seems sturdy enough. That said, the price gap between this and the original isn’t huge, so unless you’re in a pinch, I’d probably just go for the real deal.
