I ordered this because I wanted to add to the emergency kit in our car that didnt include triangles and only had one poor vest. This kit is a great improvement over that.
First the vests are actually quite nice. They are sturdy, not construction site sturdy but stronger than other vests I’ve used. They are also large. They easily fit me with room to spare, I wear large t-shirts. The zippers are large and sturdy and hold securely. All in all not a bad vest.
The triangles come folded up in long red plastic boxes. They fit but they have a tendency to snag on bits of the boxes and they go in and out. At first I was afraid I’d break off something but a strong pull popped them out without damage. Putting them in was similar. It just seems the plastic has rough edges that snag but won’t break. Assembling the triangle takes a moment of attention. There are no instructions but the free arm hooks onto the bolt holding some red tape. Easy to do in practice but in an emergency in the dark this might get frustrating if you hadn’t practiced how to do it. There are 4 fold out legs that when fully extended hold the triangle upright. The triangles are plastic and light so in windy conditions they might need something put on the rear legs to help hold them in place. They are a good size, not large but large enough for a car kit and are clearly visible.
This is a good value kit that does what I need. I hope I never need to use them but I’m very glad to have it in my car in case of emergencies.
