    I ordered these replacement back button modules as I could feel the original modules on my DualSense Edge were about to give up. I'm so glad I did!

    Just like every other product Extreme Rate sells/manufactures, as always, they put some thinking and certainly some planning into this product!

    If you're not like me, and your DualSense Edge controller isn't 90% Extreme Rate and 10% PS components, then that likely means you've yet to open your controller up. However, fear not - these guys have you covered! In every product you will find a QR Code and url to their easy to follow, step-by-step guide for you to follow through.

    In terms of this specific product though, the DualSense Edge back paddle replacement modules, they are a bit of a replacement product made better (as most things by Extreme Rate) they've found a way to improve the modules!

    So, whether you're replacing a broken module, are looking for a more responsive back button - I highly recommend recommend this kit for the Dual Sense Edge!

    I am very pleased with extremerates products, Ive fixed my DualShock edge controller about 3-4 times now in the past year. The metal paddle rockers kept breaking, then the switch board rubber buttons worn down and I thought at that point I may have to trash the 200.00 dollar controller. Nope , got on here and found the switch boards installed them and they work perfect. Dont let the guy discourage you from buying because of his review on the ribbon cables being wrong sized. You just have to be gentle and know what youre doing. Thanks!

    eXtremeRate Back Paddles Replacement Switch Board Kit for PS5 Edge Controller,

    I have a faulty Edge controller of which needed a couple replacement parts, One being the back paddles would only work if you press hard enough.

    Taking the controller apart is slightly annoying its easy enough to be done however, there is a clip which connected to a spring and you do need this to go back once finished so be careful not to loose or damage it.
    Removing the L1 and R1 is easy enough using a prying tool then removing the several screw keeping the case connected.
    just make sure you take your time in prying the case apart.

    Once opened your going to need to be careful in making sure you don't damage any of the ribbon cables you could use some tweezers in order to remove this safely.

    The one thing that is different from the original design is the fact the ribbon cable connects to a clamshell connector so so have to open the tab and slot the ribbon cable through then close the tab afterward.
    I felt this wasn't really much of any issue personally its slightly more secure to be honest but didn't effect any installation or while closing everything back up there wasn't an issue with the ribbon being pinched.
    While the PCB being a good size it fitted in place just as the original came out.

    Overall The paddle replacement board worked really well and now your not having the issue of having to press hard in order to activate it.
    The install is fairly easy you do need to be careful and possibly just take your time however, anyone can manage to fix this themselves.
    The good news is there no soldering needed its plug and play, performance wise tactical its got a more noticeable click otherwise performed just as well as the original.
