I chose this dial indicator with magnetic base as I do a fair amount of motorcycle and vehicle restoration work and a dial indicator is a great asset to have. I've never owned one before but this unit is a great way to get into this type of highly-precise measurement-taking.
These dial indicators can be very expensive and since I'm neither a pro, nor a full-time mechanic/machinist, this tool is perfect for a DIY type like me. It's perfect for checking round/spinning items like axles, rotors, pistons, etc to check to ensure they're within spec. For engine work, it's very handy for checking flatness and travel of things like pistons, valves, springs, etc.
I found the magnet on this base to be a bit weak but if you're attaching it to a steel table top or an engine block, it secured quite well. Lighter steels it tends to move if bumped. The articulating arm was quite handy to adjust and is fairly secure when tightened.
I really like the dial indicator's clear readout as well as the movable arrows that rotate around the dial. This makes it easy set limits and make readings viewable, even from a moderate distance if you have to rotate something by hand while viewing the readings.
Considering the cost of these devices, I find this an excellent product for the price. Some basic checks with a feeler gauge showed very good accuracy so I expect this to be an asset to my shop for years to come.

El reloj comparador viene en un maletín de plástico que contiene: 1 reloj comparador y 1 brazo articulado.

Es un reloj comparador con un rango de medición de hasta 20 mm y una precisión de 0,01 mm. Está fabricado en aluminio, acero y plástico. Además, incluye un brazo articulado con la mase magnética y una pinza en el otro extremo para colocar el reloj comparador.
Uso:
Primero se coloca el brazo articulado en el lugar elegido y donde pegue el imán, luego se sujeta el reloj con la pinza del brazo, con la tuerca de éste floja se mueve el brazo hasta posicionar el palpador del reloj sobre la superficie a medir, se aprieta la tuerca para fijar el brazo, se pone la aguja del reloj comparador en el cero y se hace la medición.
Es un aparato que tiene la calidad y la robustez suficiente para medir con una precisión razonable, pero enfocado en el ámbito de un pequeño taller o para aficionados y no para el profesional. Como puntos a mejorar: la esfera debería de tener las dos flechas que indican las medidas máxima y mínima; el brazo debería de poder apretarse por tramos y no solo con una tuerca; también traer un trípode para poder usar el reloj sin el brazo articulado y tener marcajes CE u otros certificados para estar seguros que cumple con la normativa y que la precisión que tiene es correcta.

Comes with case
Nice unit, arms feel well-built. Magnetic base is strong. Gauge movements are very sensitive, but smooth. It comes with a protective case as this is a delicate piece of equipment. Il kit è completo e include base magnetica e braccio oltre all'indicatore.
La base magnetica è sufficientemente forte e il braccio appare di costruzione più robusta di altri comparatori di fascia base che avevo provato.
Il serraggio anche se potrebbe essere migliore è comunque adeguato.
Io uso il comparatore centesimale per validare i campioni di stampa 3D per la calibrazione dei parametri del firmware e si è dimostrato più che adeguato.
Questi strumenti sono generalmente molto costosi e non avrebbe senso pretendere a un prezzo che attualmente ammonta a 48,39 €, le stesse caratteristiche costruttive di prodotti di fascia alta, e nella sua fascia di prezzo al momento non ho visto nulla di meglio.

Mit Industrieausführungen kann man dieses Set hier meiner Meinung nach nicht vergleichen. Das fällt schnell auf und wäre aber auch unfair, denn für den gesetzten Preis kann man keine Wunder erwarten.
Im Gegensatz zu Industrieausführungen ist dieser Klemmagnet kleiner. Der "Magic-Arm" funktioniert so weit ganz gut. Die Klemmung der Messuhr geht recht schwergängig. Da muss man schon beherzt anziehen. Dafür ist aber das Risiko gering dass man versehentlich zu fest anzieht. Große Teile der Messuhr sind hier aus Alu. Das ist leicht herzustellen und macht das Ganze billiger. Weil das weicher und empfindlicher ist wie bei Industrieausführungen würde ich entsprechend vorsichtig damit umgehen. Insbesondere die Klemmung des Skalenrings würde ich nicht oder nur ganz leicht anziehen. Da dürfte man sonst schnell Abdrücke drin haben. Das Schauglas sitzt ewtas wackelig drin.
All das sind aber Abstriche die man meiner Meinung nach zugunsten eines schlanken Preises machen kann. Für die heimische Hobbywerkstatt lohnt sich professionelles (Mess) Werkzeug oft nicht. Messen kann man nämlich durchaus damit und wenn man sorgfältig damit umgeht kann man damit vermutlich auch länger seine Freude haben. Im kleinen Köfferchen kann es gut verstaut werden.
Gemessen am Preis meiner Meinung nach völlig ausreichend. Deswegen alle 5 Sterne
