    This light is fantastic, I needed extra lumens in the garage because fluorescent lights don’t cut it.
    Wow the difference in how much more light the Govee light puts out. Plus I can change the color temperature to true daylight so I can see the actual colors of the wood varnish. I have it setup with Govee’s presence detector so the light automatically comes on when a person is in the garage. The installation was very easy and the app recognize the light very quickly.
    Only complaint is the app’s automations could be easier to navigate But it’s no different than most google type interface. The matter integration what saved it, makes it easy to add to HomeKit.

    I got this light for my son’s sensory room, and we both absolutely love it. The variety of programs is great, and as always, it’s another high-quality product from Govee. I really appreciate being able to control it from my phone. It remembers the last setting even after being turned off and back on, which is super helpful. The dimming feature is a big bonus too—low lighting is essential during his meltdowns, and this makes it easy to adjust as needed.

    Easy to install. I love the little 'snap connectors' or whatever they're called. They make wiring... a snap! Took a few minutes. App install was a bit of a pain in the tush, though. It tried installing through some Samsung app, and another called "Matter" or something like that and finally, and it keeps popping up a notice that there's a new light to add (that's particularly annoying). Eventually, I figured to just download the light's own app from the app store.

    The light works, but the colors don't go dim enough in the 'white' range so it's pretty bright. In fact, it can get EXTREMELY bright when you turn it up, so there will be zero complaints from anyone on that! The color mode colors get dim, though. I'd prefer a nice dim warm-white, but it doesn't get warm enough or dim enough, so I'm a bit disappointed by this and so was my friend when she saw how it was not as nice as the regular incandescent light it took the place of. It's a good value when you compare it to Hue lights by Philips which are my main smart lights, but the app -- while it does have some cool features and you can adjust the colors of the light and in each segment of the light band at the top independently -- feels a tiny bit clunky. It takes getting used to, but it's a pretty okay app. I prefer my Hue Light app personally over this.

    Bottom line: Don't expect perfect, but if you just want a good value on a smart ceiling light that's easy to install and functional and that looks pretty decent (nice low-profile design) and that gets REALLY BRIGHT when you need light but doesn't get super-dim when you may want your warm-white spectrum to be really dim -- then this is for you.

    I used govee for our tv lights and their ceiling fixures have not let me down either. After getting a bigger light from govee for our entertainment room we decided to put one of these in the laundry room as my wife likes to soften the light and make it look like a night light almost when not folding clothes, yet its still bright enough to make sure the laundry got clean. She loves it. I make a point of using the product for a month or two before I leave the review and can say it has held up to the original condition.

    Packaging was well done and I do not see it breaking in transport.

    I would recommend this product at the price point of $50-100

    I received this product for review. I was not paid for my opinion, I have not been contacted by the seller, and my opinion is my own honest opinion for better or worse. The only difference between my normal reviews and my Vine reviews, are I try to go more in depth out of courtesy for others and in respect of the program itself. I also still have to pay taxes, actually use the product, and spend time writing this. I borrowed this initial format from another vine program reviewer, but did not get his name so whomever you are, thank you!!! My impression overall of the vine program as since the sellers know we are free to leave our honest opinion, they believe in their products before putting them into the program!! I say this because I have appreciated the quality of products I have received and the few that I had problems with, I think could be better with minor corrections.
