I tested this USB-C to 3 HDMI adapter with a ThinkPad X1 Carbon Intel Core i5 10th gen with Intel UHD 128MB built-in graphics. This is an older system, and it is not up.to the specs required for full functionality of the adapter. This laptop does have Thunderbolt via USB-C; another older non-thunderbolt laptop did not work at all with the adapter, as expected.
Despite the poor specs of my laptop, I was able to get three displays running simultaneously, each in the "extended desktop" mode at 1920x1080 resolution, each playing 1080p video full screen with no freezing, skipping, or jumping. The laptop refused to start the fourth display under any circumstances, which was very likely a limitation of the very low spec graphics system rather than the adapter.
The laptop could either start three displays connected to the three HDMI ports on the adapter, but not the internal display, or it could start two displays on the adapter plus the internal display for a total of three in each case.
The adapter worked instantly and produced excellent video on all the displays. There was no need for a driver installation under Windows 11.
I am extremely impressed with the performance of this adapter on my older laptop.
