Connection Simplicity a hyrbid 2-in1 USB A and USB C to HDMI Adapter

Silicon Motion software is a versatile software that enables you to be more productive by adding additional displays through USB 3.0 ports. Silicon Motion driver (SMI) download is required for Windows. SMI Instant View driver download is required for Mac.

The HDMI adapter dual monitors does not support the playback of HDCP-protected content on streaming sites like Netflix and Hulu.

Note: Permission levels on corporate-issued laptops may restrict driver installation. Additionally, this product is not compatible with DisplayLink drivers

  • Yes. The UGA-HDMI-2S requires the installation of Silicon Motion (SMI) graphics drivers to function. This driver can be found on our website.

  • Yes! However, the Silicon Motion InstantView app must first be installed on the Mac in order for the display outputs to function. This software can be found on our website.

  • No, this adapter is powered by Silicon Motion (SMI) graphics technology. DisplayLink software is not compatible with this device and should not be installed.

  • No, copyright protected content that uses HDCP will not work. This includes popular video streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.

  • Please make sure that you have installed the Silicon Motion driver on your system, which can be found on our website.
