The U-lock feels solid with thick steel and a nice protective coating that keeps it from scratching frames. Keys slide in and turn without any sticking, and the lock engages with a reassuring click. It comes with a long cable that's good for securing wheels or extras like helmets. The mounting bracket’s handy but needs a bit of fiddling to fit perfectly. It’s definitely heavier than some locks, but the extra weight feels worth it for the security. Great option if you don't mind carrying a bit more bulk.

It's made of nice thick steel and feels like it could be a nice deterrent. It has a coating on it so it does not scuff up my escooter paint. It came with this mount you can try to stick the U-lock onto the scooter frame tube; hope it fits your ride. They also give you a long steel cable. I do not have anywhere to attach the cable right onto the scooter itself, so I just use the U-lock mostly, but the cable is there if I need it for something else. The lock mechanism uses special keys with complex serpentine cuts. It feels dependable when you engage it, and those cuts look like they would really slow down any tampering.
