I've been using the RED TIGER F77 for a couple of weeks, and I'm impressed. The 4K front and rear cameras give super clear video, even at night, thanks to the dual STARVIS 2 sensors. The WiFi works excellently; the 128GB storage is plenty for all my footage. The 4" touchscreen is easy to navigate, and the voice control feature is super handy. Plus, the 24-hour parking mode gives me peace of mind when I'm parked. Recommend this dash cam!

Good Dashcam so far. Only issue was with back camera install. They use a 90 degree USB C connector which putting through a 4” rubber sleeve on SUV was “very” difficult. A straight unit on 1 side would have made it much easier, as it almost didn’t get it through. Otherwise no complaints so far.

It’s my first dash cam, and still learning but overall I’m very satisfied. It’s a solid unit that is well built, and very responsive with good picture quality. The big takeaway is the customer service; when I first got it, I was unable to get the GPS function to work, contacted customer services and the following day they replied with some recommendations to resolve the issue, unfortunately it did not work, contacted the seller once again, same day they replied and subsequently indicated they would send a replacement. A few days after got the new dashcam and all is working perfectly. Thank you redtiger team!

Item: REDTIGER F77 4K + 4K Dashcam

The Redtiger F77 is a two channel dashcam that uses the latest Sony Starvis2 image sensors to achieve impressively good image quality at 4K resolution for both front and rear cameras. The unit has a built-in GPS unit and all videos are recorded with a timestamp that includes the GPS location. At night, the Starvis2 sensors produce clear and bright images that bring out details in low light conditions.

The unit contains a 128GB eMMC to store recordings and automatically overwrites older recordings when storage becomes full. You can easily lock a recording to prevent it from being deleted. The unit contains a sensor that will automatically lock a video in a collision. Recordings can be transferred to an SD card or downloaded with the Redtiger APP is long term storage is required. The unit supports 5GHz WiFi for fast download speeds.

The unit has parking mode that provides 24 hour monitoring, timelapse recording and collision sensing. The parking mode requires the dashcam to be hardwired to the vehicle with an optional hardwire kit.

Adjusting settings and viewing recordings can be done from the unit itself using the 4" touchscreen or from the Redtiger APP. Using the APP is not required as all options are available om the menus on the main unit.

Ordered this because I was interested in the 4K capabilities. Install was reasonably easy if you're used to working on your car. It came with everything needed for a reasonably clean install.

Without repeating everything other reviewers said, I'll try to add observations that others haven't.

To start, the picture quality on this is great in day or night, I will give it that. The 128 MB built-in storage is good for regular drives. If you're hoping to capture anything on a longer road trip then you would need a larger micro-SD card.

There are a ton of features on this camera, which does take some time to get used to using. Voice control, wifi, a connected app and parking monitoring. I would say for the price compared to other dashcams I've seen, you're definitely getting your money's worth. ,

There are things I didn't care for, however.

The size of the front window unit. My car has a low roof and window, and this took up too much visual space for me & my passengers, even trying to hide it behind my rear view mirror. It's not huge, but large enough that on my windshield it takes up more space than I'm comfortable with. The rear camera is much smaller, it's only the front unit that I think could be smaller. My wife is getting a new SUV this week which will have a bigger windshield than my car, so I'm going to mount it in there and hopefully it won't be as noticeable.

The plug for the rear camera and power cord on the front camera unit are really close together. On my small windshield, this makes it difficult to plug/unplug the unit.

Speaking of the power cord, the only option it came with is a 12V cigarette lighter plug. This keeps it from being a completely clean & hidden install. For me, I prefer a cleaner look but it may not bother you. Note this also means you need a power outlet which remains on even when the car is off to take advantage of the parking monitor feature. Would be better if it came with options for a more permanent install.

Overall, the camera is an excellent unit with lots of features. I would definitely recommend for an SUV or truck, on some cars the front window unit may be too large. Also, would be better with different power options than just a 12V plug in for a cleaner install. For that I'm going to deduct a star since this will need constant power. If the 12V plug doesn't bother you, then I say 5 stars.
