- Reviewed in Canada on February 6, 2025No waiting, no bulky water heater—just instant hot water right from the tap. Whether I’m washing dishes, prepping food, or need warm water on demand, this faucet delivers fast and efficiently. Within seconds, I get hot water—no storage tank needed. I love the real-time temperature display, so I always know exactly how hot the water is. No guessing, no surprises.
Took just a few minutes to set up. No complicated plumbing—just plug it in, connect, and enjoy instant heat.
- Reviewed in Canada on April 25, 2025Verified PurchaseFirst of all, it is a nice faucet and seems to be well made. Installation is "generally" pretty easy. Screw a water hose onto one end and plug the electrical into an outlet.
And for the first 10-15 seconds everything is fine.
Then sadly like most of these small tankless water heaters, it trips the breaker pretty much right away, every single time.
I got it to run and give out warm water (never got hot as it never ran long enough) for a max of 10-15 seconds before it trips the breaker. No matter what breaker (even ones with absolutely nothing else running on them) it causes them to trip. Like most homes, the vast majority of the breakers are going to be 15amps for standard outlets. This heater runs at/up to 3000watts. To find out the amperage needed, you divide the wattage by the voltage (3000x110) which gives you 27amps. So this device will draw "up to" 27 amps. Tripping pretty much all standard outlets. I suspect that if you connected it up to a 20amp breaker (some newer homes are wired with them), it might be fine.
If you are going to run new electrical for this, then I don't see a problem, as at that time you can get the electrician to wire things up for the proper power draw and you will be fine. But as a plug and play without a higher end electrical outlet (it is not just the breaker, the wiring has to be rated for the 20amps+ needed as well), this will not work. If you look at reviews of pretty much any other "mini style water heater" the vast majority of the negative reviews are from them tripping the breakers in most peoples homes.
I was hoping that this one would operate at a lower wattage since it is a very small unit being all built into the faucet assembly, but sadly that is not the case.
Still, it does look nice and worked well for the 10-15 seconds I can get it working.
