    I found the handles on these scissors too small for my skinny hands. As they are soft grip I thought I would be able to fit my four skinny fingers into the large part of the handle but I was not able to. Also the blades were not as long as expected, it measures approx 5 inches. Nothing like the 8 inches described. All in all I don't think they are worth two stars. They are also made in China. Go to John Lewis, they do a lovely pair of British made soft grip dressmaking scissors. Have purchased a pair and they are brilliant!

    Very sharp and cuts through fabric really fast. However when I go to clipping curves the handle is hard to open and close at small openings in quick sessions. Other than that they are light and have a good grip. They are designed to lay close to the fabric which makes it easy on the wrist.
