When the generator stops running, it automatically switches to utility power with a green light indicating that generator power is active. In addition, the transfer switch continuously monitors the status of the utility power, so that if the utility power goes out, the generator will automatically start without the need for additional wiring, providing you with great convenience.
Dual Protection: The 50 AMP Automatic Transfer Switch is pre-wired to automatically convert the primary source of AC power from shore power to generator or inverter power upon startup. Mechanical interlocks and control circuits are protected against short circuits caused by two separate 120/240 volt AC power sources entering the AC switchboard at the same time.
RV Transfer Switch: This automatic transfer switch is perfect for anyone who needs seamless power management for their RV or speedboat. With an operating voltage of 240VAC, a current rating of 50A and a neutral current of 70A, this switch can efficiently switch between different power sources, ensuring that you won't run out of power while you're traveling.
Easy Installation: Our 50 Amp Transfer Switch has an easy to remove protective cover with wiring diagram. When installing, note that there are different locations for light and heavy duty wires. Before proceeding, please note where they are connected and after plugging in the power cord, reinsert the light duty cord into its original position.
