Quality tool backpack for small tools
I have been looking for a backpack tool case for some time and had the opportunity to get this one. Positive points - quality material was used, stitching for pockets is very well done and shouldn’t rip out, lots of pockets, quality zippers from what I can tell so far, the handle extends out far enough and the handle is ergonomic for pulling, the back straps can store away, plenty of room for most tools required for an electrician or HVAC for smaller jobs, top handle has steel cable riveted to bag, bag has hard plastic outer case for bottom and sides, material seems to be water repellent, is comfortable to wear as a backpack for short duration ( this isn’t made for hiking so don’t expect that type of comfort), wheels are made from soft material and not hard plastic, front opens up wide. Things I think could be improved: reduce the number of pockets and widen the very narrow ones - the pockets on the front inner fold down part seem to be made for wrenches as they narrow in size and reduce in depth. Unfortunately the 3 wider one’s are basically useless as the lower narrow ones vertical seams were sewn through the upper pockets they can’t store anything but a screwdriver. The loops in the front are really only good for hanging something on them with a carabiner, clipping something onto them, or pressure fitting something into them hoping it doesn’t fall out. I’ve seen elastic used, however those just stretch and wear out quickly. The overall height of the backpack could be increased a few inches to help store longer items in it such as plumbing pliers. Overall these are pretty minor issues. This is ideal for taking just the tools needed for a small HVAC or electrical jobs and the build very good. The price seems competitive to other similar rolling tool backpacks.

    For a tool case that aims to be versatile, it does a fair job. It's well made with tough materials and features substantial padding to protect the contents from bouncing around too much. The stitching is well reinforced. However, I find it strange that there's a cheap vinyl/mesh pouch, especially since Oxford cloth is significantly more durable. This seems like a last-minute compromise or an afterthought.

    While there are a good number of large pockets, just a few too many small ones can only accommodate screwdrivers and similar tools. The narrower inner pockets are ideal for crescent and adjustable wrenches, while the larger pouches work well for measuring tapes, electrical testers, and side cutters. One complaint is that there aren't enough spots for larger pliers. It has enough depth to hold at least two cordless drills, angle grinders, and a couple of batteries.

    Operating the extendable handle is straightforward, but there is noticeable play in the tubing, and the wheels aren't as robust as I would have expected, given the weight the tool bag can hold.

    Additionally, it would have been ideal for the two side pouches to have some type of closure, such as a clip or snap, to prevent items from falling out. I also wish there was a way to keep the bottoms of the shoulder straps from dragging on the ground when they are contained within the back panel closure, as they tend to dangle on the ground.

    While it isn't inexpensive, it is reasonably priced compared to similar products and is well made overall. It is not perfect, but it is still recommended.
