This set looks cool I love the colour - dark and sleek.

The fit is good.

The ratchet it surprisingly strong, too, I could really pull tight on these. More than I felt comfortable doing.

The problem has come up in the internal housing of the ratcheting system. It is held in by a small ring and I’ve had two of them fall out and the internal ratcheting housing come apart. Fortunately I was able to put it together again, but it’s tough to trust it.

I’ve also had another one get stuck and not ratchet anymore. So now it’s just a normal wrench. I tried getting it unstuck a number of ways but I haven’t had luck so far. Fortunately it happened on an uncommon size so I don’t use it much.

Finally, the flex head is too soft. It will move and flex way too easily and you cannot tighten it and adjust it. I tried using a small Allen key to tighten the flex head and it stripped immediately and didn’t do anything. It’s so soft and wobbly it’s almost impossible to use unless you use your other hand to keep the ratcheting head firmly pressed onto the bolt. Which I normally do anyways, but for tough angles… ugh… very frustrating.

Good budget set. With some small quality issues that are kinda frustrating. I probably wouldn’t have opted to spend a couple more bucks and get something better to be honest.

These are a really nice quality tool. The build feels very solid and the finish is uniform and refined. The box end grips sockets well and the ratcheting action is an absolute game changer when it comes to removing nuts or bolts in awkward spaces. I use the open end to break the nut free, then switch to the ratcheting end to remove the fastener quickly. The hinge on the box end is also a nice feature that comes in handy in tight spaces. The only thing I didn't care for was the way the case opens and closes. It is really hard to pop it open, making me think that the top that snaps in place was only meant to hold the tools in place until the package was opened.
