These TREKOLOGY collapsible hiking poles are an excellent set of hiking poles. The aircraft-grade aluminum composition makes these poles strong and durable. While these poles are not as lightweight as carbon fiber poles, they are quite lightweight for metal poles making them ideal for long treks whether using them or carrying them on your backpack. I like how easy it is to adjust the length of these poles. The poles can be collapsed to as short as 15.3" making them easy to carry in a backpack or store in luggage when travelling. These poles can bed extended to a maximum length 51.2". Each pole has a Velco strap to help keep them contained when collapsed and there is a handy carry bag included for storing the 2 poles. I also like how these poles have markings along the length to let you know how long they are as you adjust them. This makes it easy to dial in your preferred length when using them. I really like cork grips on these poles. They have a nice feel and wick moisture from your hands. There is also an adjustable wrist strap on each pole to prevent you accidentally dropping them on rough climbs or terrain. I have used these poles for a number of hikes and I am unpressed with how lightweight they are for metal poles and how durable they feel. I would recommend these trekking poles if you are looking for good quality, lightweight, trekking poles.

Tell airport security in the US that they are for accessibility or they will take them as a security risk. I have no idea why but I was asked and told that I could only have them if I need them to walk. They are okay in Canada.

    My one complaint is that the tips swivel out of place. On the asphalt tips, they’d go sideways and I was constantly adjusting them. These need to have some mounting method where they stay seated in position.
