This is a nice battery plate.

Made by ZGCINE, this is a well made hot swap V-Mount battery plate. The plate connects to my camera with a V-Mount connection, which then provides me with two V-mount battery slots. These battery slots can now supply power to my camera.

The design also includes a number of ports for providing power to a number of my camera accessories, including my monitors, and power for my audio and microphones. The power ports on the unit are very versatile and include, USB-C PD 100W Output, 4 D-TAP, and 2 LEMO Ports.

This is a great unit for providing additional power options to my camera rig.

One of the best shark fin on the market period. Love the 2 pin lemo's on the product itself along with DTAPs. Only thing I wouldv'e changed is I would've protected the on-off switch. It could be easy to accidently touch it and turn the whole thing off. Otherwise, very functionnal and clever design.

Unfortunately, with the main purpose of this product being that it plugs into a v-mount battery slot, to let you attach two batteries with hot-swap functionality, it fails. While it does slide into a v-mount slot, and function, it wobbles, does not lock into place, and easily slides out or falls off. This becomes more likely with two heavy v-mount batteries attached. In contrast to that, batteries lock into this adaptor well.

As a multi-tap power supply it's a good product; though note that it only offers 7 power ports, not 10 as indicated in the product description. I cannot recommend this for the main purpose it is designed for.

It comes with a pretty orange braided usb-c cable though. So, there's that at least.

DIY MODIFICATION
This product comes with a document indicating how to repair a defect in the product assembly if you bought the product before September 2023. Having no idea when this was packaged, I opened it up only to discover the fix was not necessary. Surely, when this is being packaged, almost 2 years later, they know if the assembly has been done correctly and thus not need to include this document. Or, if it has not been done it should be done by the person packaging the product. The manufacturer should not be requiring a customer to have to open an electronic device to make modifications.

The ZGCINE Dual V Mount Battery Plate arrived very professionally packaged in a full colur printed cardboard box bearing the Zgcine branding and featuring images of the product.

In the set you get the main dual V mount plate, a dual 15mm rod clamp, a high quality USB C to USB C cable, an Allen key, a cleaning cloth and an instruction manual.

The unit features 10 individual output ports - 1 x USB-C1 PD at 5V/2.4A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A & 20V/5A, 2 x 2 pin outs at 14.8v/10A, 4 x D-Tap outs at 14.8v/10A and a BP out at 14.8v/10A.

The facility to mount two V batteries in a single port enable a great deal of flexibility for the videographer and with the multiple outputs a full complement of accessories can be powered.

A high quality upgrade for the serious videographer.
