The kydex sheath is good quality. It clicks in, so you could carry it upside down if you wanted.

I accidentally cut myself with it because I was foolish and wasn't looking while I sheathed it. That's on me, this knife isn't any more dangerous than other knives.

Overall it is a great knife for the price.

This is an awesome EDC fixed blade for the price. We have such a difficult time getting decent knives here in Canada, so this makes a good quality package like this even better. First off, I love the size, ergonomics, and blade steel (essentially an upgraded D2). Heat treat seems solid as edge retention is good, but its still reasonably easy to sharpen. The accompanying kydex sheath is A1... and I mean really superb. No play whatsoever and the retention is PERFECT. The fact that it also comes with a tek-lok style belt clip is also awesome. It also works well with an ulti-clip. I added a fire steel (not included), as this is now my backup camping fixed blade. The spine will definitely throw sparks. I couldn't be happier with this knife. Definitely worth checking out.

Replica del piu famoso Esee cr2.5, le differenze io personalmente le trovo miglioramenti.

Vantaggi:

- Il fodero é in kydex, con un buon sistema di aggancio tec-lock che permette diverse soluzioni di porto (cintura, spallaccio dello zaino, ecc...) comunque é rimovibile e passandoci un cordino si può portare come neck knife... nell'Esee cr2.5 il fodero é in cuoio, con unica possibilità di porto verticale in cintura.

- sia la lama che il manico sono leggermente più lunghi rispetto all'Esee cr2.5, che nel mio caso aiuta a sentirlo più confortevole in mano.

- l'acciaio della lama é decente, sicuramente più duro da affilare del 1095 Esee, ma il filo dura anche di più (é un upgrade del D2).

- il prezzo é ottimo, preso in offerta a 26 euro circa... 1/3 del costo dell' Esee cr2.5 attualmente.

- finiture più che buone e manico in G10 robusto.

Difetti pochi e trascurabili:

- é leggermente pesante rispetto alle dimensioni, ma ha un manico importante a 4 dita piene, quindi ci può stare.

- il fodero (ottimamente costruito) ha dei bordi un po' troppo abbondanti, sicuramente é per creare spazio al tec-lock, ma crea un ingombro spropositato rispetto alla piccola lama che contiene.

- avrei preferito 1 cm in più di lama, ma così com'è rimane comunque più generosa di quella dell'esee, mantenendo una dimensione da neck knife. Con una lama un po' più lunga sarebbe stato perfetto (anche se a quel punto starebbe al limite fra un neck knife e un backup)

- ha uno spessore lama di 3 mm, non é un difetto ma visto che assolve compito di taglio puro sarebbero stati sufficienti e forse anche più performanti 2 o massimo 2.5 mm di spessore.

Nel complesso la valutazione é molto positiva, é comodo nell'uso... Sbucciare un frutto o in generale sul cibo, intagliare il legno, come coltello da pesca, é una lama piccola e molto agile con un ottima manicatura generosa, si presta perfettamente agli usi più comuni che si possono fare di un coltello in outdoor.

Personalmente lo consiglio 👌🏻
