This is a must have tool for any hard to reach spots that require a little finesse. I elected for the corded version as not to run out of power when its needed the most, in the middle of work! Go ahead and purchase this item with confidence, you will not be disappointed.

Picked this up because my old multitool started leaking grease everywhere. Overall, the dremel multimax works very well and is so useful in a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none kind of way, in a good way. I’m remodeling my home so it’s come in handy cutting door frame trim or even the corners out out of LVP. With the right blades it can even carve out grout. One thing this dremel multitool has that my old one didn’t is variable speed which has come in handy at times. It’s just a little more manageable at slower speeds sometimes depending on the material. I’m actually a big fan of the simplicity of corded tools. One thing I don’t particularly care for is the securing mechanism. It’s a screw-to-tighten system, but it’s quite slow. And it can be hard for those who are slight of frame or have joint issues. My old one had and instant release which was super convenient. I haven’t found super long lasting blades, so I find myself switching them out quite frequently, which is a bit of pain. Also, the blade hub seems to be a slightly different shape from some of the other multitool blades that it have; you might need a little adapter (see pics). Overall, for $90, it’s not perfect, but I’m pretty happy. 4 stars.
