Tres bien pour diverse tache , tout en devenant autonome pour souder il faut avoir du bon materiel rebott est une marque de choix!! Je le conseille au amateur , comme au professionnel . La machine se paye par elle meme a chaque utilisation pour fabriquer ou reparer ses projets

    I really want to like this welder but for me it is a no go. It is going back.

    Mine had an issue where it put out a strange voltage to the spool gun motor. I believe it failed and was constantly putting 40 volts to the spool gun and wire feed motors.

    When I asked Reboot's customer support, they told me that the machine only works with their spool gun which is not yet available. Not sure I totally believe that as the 4 pin aircraft connector is on many other spool guns and the pinout is right.

    The quality of the MIG gun and ground clamp is quite poor. The nozzle of the MIG gun does not have threads, just a spring.. The ground clamp actually twisted after a couple of uses.

    The fan is on when the welder is on. It can get annoying.

    Other than that it seems well built.

    Right out of the box the nozzle would not come off without a wrench and the "threads" (a coil of stiff wire) fell out of it. It would not thread back on again so I bodged it on with teflon tape for shielding gas use and I'll need to buy another nozzle, likely along with more consumables but, perhaps from a different manufacturer?

    This welder will also blow 15a breakers on 120v -- at a relatively low setting -- just like the plasma cutter from Reboot I also purchased at the same time, only not quite as easily. A 20a breaker helps but will still trip at medium/high 120v welding settings, well below what the manufacturer claims is doable. There appears to be nothing aside from trial and error to determine the high limit on 120v, still... it works well enough. The automatic setting actually works very well but, it really shines when finessed on manual. 240v operation is nearly on par with my miller 252.

    Aside from the nozzle breaking immediately this welder actually works rather well with 75/25 -- and is very capable using Flux core if configured correctly. It is a highly adjustable, light, very competent and smart looking machine and I look forward to acquiring and using a tig torch with it soon.

    I'm more or less happy with this half of the purchase.

    Not impressed. Looked good out of box. Could not adjust wire speed during mig process. When when attempting to use rod had to set amperage at 5/32 spec to try and burn 3/32! Couldn't even do that. Missed return window so now have oversized paper weight!

    Bought this to do a aluminum projectas it has adjustable voltage and amperage .l also purchased the tig torch with it to tig the aluminum. The wire feed on mig will not start fast enough for welding aluminum with the mig it burns right back in the tip soon sa you start no matter what setting you try. With the tig setting it automatically goes to a pre set setting then the only thing you can change is the amp setting not the volts. So when you strike a arc the voltage drops front it's pre set of 65 to 10 to 16 depending on what amp setting you choose but on any setting from 50 to 250 the tig won't star a puddle. I never tried it on steel but its no good for aluminum
