The ULTIMEA 4K projector shows a big, clear picture in 4K resolution, making movies and shows look really good, especially in a dark room. It's easy to watch your favorite streaming services like Netflix and YouTube because it has Android TV built right in – no extra boxes needed. The sound from the projector is okay for simple watching, but getting separate speakers will give you much better sound for movies. You will hear the fan running while you use it. If you're looking for a simple and affordable way to get a large, high-quality picture with smart features, and you plan to watch mostly when it's dark, this ULTIMEA projector is a good choice. It's easy to set up and use, letting you enjoy a big-screen experience without spending a lot of money.

This projector does exactly what Ultimea says it will do and does it really well. Just know that if you would like to play 4k content at 60fps, you need to select which version of HDMI you will use, 1.4, 2.0, or 2.1. I went in thinking it was a matter of course and could only get 4k at 30fps with no HDR. The projector offers a bright, clear image, and the color accuracy is great for a projector at this price point. The Ultimea Poseidon E40 punches above its weight for a projector in this price category. I do have to mention that the media source will sometimes switch impromptu to the native android TV Version 11. I believe my product is defective and will contact ultimea support. When the projector is working as it should, there are no disappointments

There's much to like with this projector, but also some things that could be better.

The device:
► The overall feel is that this is well made. It's solid and has some heft to it.
► While the handle may seem to get int he way, it is far better to use this when moving
► The heft is a double-edged sword as it keeps the unit from being knocked over, but it also means that wherever it is placed needs to support a fair bit of weight.
► Overall, its foot print is a little smaller than some of the other projectors I've used, but it also stands a lot taller.
► This is not an easy device to move around for presentations. It is well suited, however, for use in a meeting or conference room.
► The AC adapter is huge, the same size as the one used on my ASUS laptop, and even the same voltage and current capability. It does run warm, and I can understand why this can produce a very bright video.
► There is a built-in cooling fan, but it's very quiet, to the point it's hardly noticeable.
► Other projectors I've used all had an elevation control on the bottom located at the front. This allowed for angling the machine to help reduce the amount of keystone tinkering that is required because these machines typically sit lower than the screen they are projecting onto. The handle can be pushed forward and around the front bottom to reproduce the control knob.
► On the bottom, centered on the machine, is a threaded standard 1/4 inch tripod mount, but because this is so heavy, I won't be using it.
► By using a thumb drive, I can play videos on the drive, but I needed to install a file manager app (not preinstalled on my device) so I could navigate to the drive and then play the video(s).
► On the back is an HDMI connection, which then allows the projector to play back from an HDMI-connected device.

Video:
► The 4K Decoding in the seller's description is clickbait. I can use video that is 4K encoded, but the service converts it down to 1080. So this is an HD, not full 4K system.
► I like this 6D keystone system. It does an excellent job on its own. There is no manual override using a ring or knob system as with some of the older systems. It can be manually adjusted via the remote control.
► As with the keystone, focus is automatic but has a manual override, again via the remote control.
► Video is clear and stable.
► No lag spikes pixelation.

Audio:
► The large enclosure does make for some great audio due to housing decent-sized speakers; by far, it's better than any similar (price range) projector I have or worked with.
► The sound this produces is very good. There is a decent amount of bass, and with the mid and high range set out of the box, I have no problem hearing the subtle background instruments when watching a stream that uses orchestral music.
► By using the Aux connection, audio can be ruin through an external system for more robust or louder, if needed, audio. There was no cable included in the kit, so one will need to source or, if available, use any three-ring cable can be used.

OS:
► Because this is an Android-based device there is the option to log in with a user Google account:
► As with all Android devices, there are a large number of apps that can be installed.
► There are the typical (limited) system configuration options for the OS.
► At this point, there has been no Android update, but I expect that, like other Android devices, there will be an update(s) at some point.

✘ There is one very big downside to this device. If, for whatever reason, the remote is not available, it was lost, the dog ate it, a toddle rolled their toy across it, someone left it next to a plant that got too much water, etc., the system is useless. There is only one button on the projector: the power button. I have no idea what it would be like trying to get a replacement, but even if I could, the device would be useless till I had one in my hand. I have never used one of these that did not have a small control panel on the device. Sure, using only a few buttons to navigate through countless options can be frustrating, but at least they were useable when the remote wasn't. Even if there was an app that could be run on a phone and connected to the projector, it would be a huge benefit.
🚩 This is not the same as Chromecast or mirroring from phones or tablets, which the device is capable of. But again, I need the remote to get to the point where I can connect.

So overall, it produces very good 1080 video and the audio is far better than most similar projectors provide. It has a lot of options, and the 6D keystone is by far the best keystone control I have seen.

It is more expensive than a lot of the options here on �鶹��, but there are some definite advancements and features that I like.

Boy was i wrong the image is amazing with auto focus and auto screen alignment for any object that me be In the way u can also focus it manually it has Google playstore so you won't have an issue looking for apps, you can also screen mirror aswell and the sound is great! As with other projectors, Ina well lit room in the morning there's no way you can watch a movie comfortably? But with this projector I got to admit it's definitely capable of holding it's own in that case now I'm not sitting here saying in a well lit room it's picture quality is just like a TV no but you can definitely watch a movie comfortable and there is far worse projectors out there that cost more than this one..with that said I'm currently dealing with something where I had to reach out to customer service and they have been nothing short of amazing and super professional!!highly recommend you buy this if you're in the market you will not be disappointed

So I had been researching projectors for about 4 months when the Anker spring sale started. I missed out on the Mars 3 discount and saw this... thinking it was similar or comparable. I had high hopes for this, considering the advertised specs and price. The design seems really clever. Integrating larger speakers in this format makes a lot of sense. In a normal viewing conditions with a projector in the back of a big room to make a 120" picture... maybe it works well, but for my uses it doesn’t fit well.
I incorrectly assumed that the 360 degree handle would allow ceiling projection. This is not supported. In fact, a lot of normal projector features, settings or tweaks are absent. Even on a slight angle (pictured) the ISA could not avoid obstructions or auto focus correctly. Maybe I have misconceptions on how ISA works, but this seems like a bad implementation.
The speakers are loud to try and drown out the fan, which is too loud for a bedroom. Actual stereo with separation dependent on how ‘centered’ your unit is in the room.

The LCD display and lens assembly is not sealed, which is essential if this is a 'portable' projector. There is already dust behind the lens that I cannot clean. New unit, so far so good, will have to see
Annoyingly, the power brick is very large and the cords are short. See the pic for a size comparison to a PS4. So expect to use an extension cable. But you can use any standard IEC 23 /ATX PSU power cable

The company replaced the unit, no weird questions asked. Quick return and replacement.
Happy with what it is, using it in the game room.

The speakers are loud to try and drown out the fan, which is too loud for a bedroom. Actual stereo with separation dependent on how ‘centered’ your unit is in the room.

The LCD display and lens assembly is not sealed, which is essential if this is a 'portable' projector. There is already dust behind the lens that I cannot clean. New unit, so far so good, will have to see
Annoyingly, the power brick is very large and the cords are short. See the pic for a size comparison to a PS4. So expect to use an extension cable. But you can use any standard IEC 23 /ATX PSU power cable

The company replaced the unit, no weird questions asked. Quick return and replacement.
Happy with what it is, using it in the game room.
