I had some difficulty in connecting my speaker to the Bluetooth adapter on my Windows 10 PC. The instructions it came with are a bit confusing. But after trial and error, I finally managed to get it to connect (One error i made was just turning the power on, and realizing that I also needed to press the Bluetooth button on the speaker in order to sync with the adapter!). It was working fine for awhile, but then my JBL Bluetooth speaker kept cutting out every few minutes. I ran the Device Troubleshooter and it fixed the connection because I haven't had any problems since.

I have been using the Ugreen Bluetooth 5 usb dongle without external antenna to connect / CONTROL my Moukey amp in back yard and it works well, but cuts out sometimes when people are walking around outside ( amp is 11-12 feet away from the dongle ).

SO, i thought lets try this Ugreen dongle for a stronger signal.
Is the signal stronger with this one... perhaps a bit.

BUT:
1) The win7 driver package installs some Barrot BrLink software.
2) That software does not support 2 important bluetooth protocols namely remote control and remotely controllable device making it impossible to send music to my amp and be able to skip forward and back through various audio tracks from the amps remote while outside. That alone made this a NO NO device for me.

3) But WAIT .. the best is yet to come ( irony ) !!! My firewall caught this software trying to connect to some funky chinese advertising company. HMMM ?? Now that made me wonder if they wanted to just spy on me OR would it have randomly "injected" audio adds into what i was listening to ! WOW

Come on Ugreen SMARTEN UP!!! i have used a lot of your cables, adapters, etc for years and they were always great products. BUT THIS JUST STINKS !!

Uno de mis ordenadores el algo antiguo (2016) aunque lo uso bastante para trabajar de forma remota.
El caso es que me los últimos modelos de auriculares bluetooth que me he comprado no he podido usarlos con este ordenador por distintos motivos:
- En algunos casos pedía un PIN que nunca aceptaba, aunque pusieras el correcto.
- En otros casos había lag o latencia en el audio.

Estos mismos auriculares en otros ordenadores no daban problemas así que supuse que era cosa de la versión de bluetooth, puesto que la mayoría vienen con versiones 5 o superior, mientras que el adaptador de mi ordenador se quedaba en la 2.

Decidí comprarme este nuevo adaptador usb por su antena que aumenta el rango, lo que me permite moverme algo mas libremente (no mucho) sin que se desconecten los auriculares.

A la hora de instalarlo es importante, como indican en las instrucciones, deshabilitar el adaptador nativo del ordenador (si lo tiene) porque de lo contrario no funciona la instalación del nuevo.
Una vez hecho, no hay problemas y lo reconoce correctamente.

Desde que lo instalé ya no tengo problemas con todos esos auriculares que antes no podía usar, así que funciona perfectamente.

A Windows update tanked my PC's Bluetooth 4 months ago, and I've been through every possible hoop in terms of downloading, installing, uninstalling, rolling back drivers, reading help forums and generally screaming into the void. I balked at the idea of spending money to replace a perfectly functional piece of hardware, but it just got to be too cumbersome to use wired-everything in my work.
