    My old coffee machine makes great coffee but the filter had seen better days. I prefer a reusable filter to paper as I save my grounds for my garden/plants, so dumping them into a bucket is easy while the filter retains it's shape.
    The purpose of this filter is simple; The fine, metal mesh allows the brew to flow freely thru the filter with no water overflow & the solid bottom (vs. mesh) creates a better brew. After ridding used grounds, rinse the filter til clean. Delicious cup of coffee with a one time cost for the filter & you'll never run out.
