Got about half way through and fought the entire time with the base moving underneath and almost tossed the whole thing across the room several times because way back at step 62 (the steps are very simple so there are a lot of them) I put one piece in the wrong place and it compromised my entire build. Finally by the time I got to bag 3 (step 212) I found where I had made the error and luckily was able to disassemble without actually disassembling too much lol. 100% stable now lol. Take your time. Follow the instructions properly lol

I've recently gotten into building toys for adults as a way to destress at the end of the day. Unfortunately this set did the exact opposite. You will spend more time putting parts on that have come off while attempting to build it than you will actually building it. Owl doesn't stay up straight on it's own as other reviewers have mentioned. You will need to glue it, have extra parts from other builds laying around to fix it or jury-rig something to make it stay level. Instruction manual has poor print quality making it easy to make mistakes. I do not recommend this product and I will not be purchasing another set of this brand.

I really enjoyed this build.

I’m tired of doing easy builds that can be completed in the length of a movie. Usually I won’t stop until I finish, since most builds I’ve had can be powered through. I am also yet to find a large LEGO brand build that meets my aesthetic/interests.

This build was perfect. It’s beautiful. Maximalist. Flora & Fauna. Lovely colors. There were enough steps that I felt good about doing it over 3 or so sittings, which helped keep the excitement alive. It was also challenging in parts to get all the pieces set in close proximity, which made me feel like I accomplished something.

I highly recommend. I’m usually brand loyal, so it is a big deal that I LOVE this!
