About this item

  • ESP32 LoRa V3 is not compatible with the LoRa 32 V2. The lora case is only designed for lora v3 board.
  • You can power lora v3 board via 3.7V lithium battery, 3.3V / 5V pin, or on-board type C 5V. To make it work better, type C 5V power is recommended.
  • The lora case has a strict requirement in size of lora antenna fitting with it. It means not all antenna is suitable for it.
  • LoRa oled board v3 comes unassembled, soldering required by you, not equipped with lithium battery.
  • You will receive 2pcs 915MHz esp32 lora oled board V3 with 1.25mm-2p cable, 2pcs lora v3 case, and 2pcs 915mhz lora antenna.

-LoRa 32 is a ESP32 development board used for smart cities, farms, homes, industrial control, home security, and IoT developers.

-Comapred with the LoRa V2, the LoRa V3 version uses the different MCU, so pinout is not the same. LoRa V3 retains W - F, BLE, LoRa, OLED display, and other features, but it is the improvement of LoRa V2, not the replacement of the LoRa V2 version.

    À part l'installation d'un driver série spécifique sur l' USB pour flasher le firmware en Meshtastic 868 Mhz, la mise à jour et l'installation ont éte aisées, prendre une bonne loupe pour cliper le connecteur d'antenne. Les boîtiers sont en ABS et les cartes en version V3.1. Les essais entre modules à quelques centimètres étaient satisfaisants dans un premier temps mais ça s'est rapidement dégradé en essayant d'autres configurations les modules ne communiquant plus entre eux. Après plusieurs réinstallations des firmwares et des applications, je poursuis les essais pour voir s'il s'agit d'un problème de configuration ou si un module est défectueux, finalement aucun problème, au dernier test les 1100 mètres de portée étaient confirmés, un bon début pour la 5ème étoile .

    The are the default "so cheap you can buy'em just to try it out" devices IMO. Assemble them in a couple minutes and flash with meshtastic, meshcore, whatever.

    The v3 are famously power hungry so keep these for grid power and use nrf52 or t114 for solar projects. They don't have a compartment to hold a battery anyway.
