    I have a Honeywell HEV620BC Cool Moisture Tower Evaporative Humidifier. The height and height of this filter is a perfect fit. However, on first use, it is slightly too thick. It is not possible to completely close and lock the orange plastic mesh of the filter container. The filter container with this filter nevertheless still fit into the back of the Honeywell humidifier. Where this filter looses a few stars is because the water absorption capacity is not as good as a genuine Honeywell HFT600 filter. The water barely gets wicked (by capillarity) past the half way point of the filter and that results in a diminished humidification capacity. Using the Honeywell HFT600 filter, the reported humidity was around 31%-33%. An hour after I installed this filter, the humidity level dropped to about 27%-29%. As an experiment, I flipped the filter upside-down so that the filter mesh was completely wet. The humidity level of the room soon went up to about 35%. This filter have some room for improvement; it should use a mesh material with a better water absorption capacity.
