After installing the mirror I had a problem with turning on automatically when starting the car, worked perfectly but sometimes I had to manually turn it on, I called customer service for help and they took care of it immediately I had a replacement part in a couple of days and no more problems, very easy to install and I love the quality of the playback video, I also was amazed at the blind spot eliminating rear camera, I feel much safer driving now than before excellent system worth the money.

I am very happy with G850. This product is made of very good quality, the hardwire cable are good quality and properly sized for under dash installation.
The G850 is mounted on existing rear view mirror is great, distinct can be use as regular mirror or camera.
I have it installed on my NX300 FSport which do not have blind spot monitor; The WDR-HDR rear camera is great and helping me with blind spot issue.
The WDR-HDR camera is working very well at night and day (little dim at day), I am very much used to this rear view camera now. The picture quality is very high.
Because of high resolution you can read screen without any problem. on the mirror it displays the date/time - the compass- speed. Designed to withstand extreme Canadian temperatures environment. The menu option are well designed and working just fine. The recoding are very clear for front and rear camera.
WOLFBOX support staff - are quick response and caring, also they are on WhatsApp.
I wish, it has iPhone app to view/download footage and setup menu options from it.

This unit was a breeze to install (with only a small amount of experience messing with a car fuse panel and running cables through channels of your vehicle).
Initially had an issue where the files were not being overwritten and the card filled up but a quick email back and forth with support and they provide a new formware to resolve it. More recently my rear camera failed. Again, a quick back and forth and a new one was shipped under warranty in just a few days. Working again. Will probably mount inside at top of window this time. I prefer that angle and it will avoid inevitable wear and tear from Canadian winter driving conditions. Although the camera did appear to hold up quite well. Not sure what actually went wrong with it, but I'm happy.

Poor Long-Term Performance – Unsafe and Inconvenient After Two Months

I’ve been using this rear camera for about two months, and I’m very disappointed with its performance. It seemed fine at first, but serious problems have developed over time.

Although the video doesn’t show typical noise, the image feels like it’s floating — not stable or grounded, especially when reversing. This makes judging distance difficult and unsafe.

After it rains, the image becomes blurry and light gets scattered across the screen. Visibility drops dramatically, and the camera becomes practically useless while driving. This is a major safety concern.

One more issue: since this unit replaces your original rearview mirror, you lose direct access to the car’s original mirror. That’s fine in dry weather, but during rain or low visibility, you may find yourself without a reliable way to see what’s behind you — which can be dangerous.

Also, every time I turn off the car, the clock resets and I have to set the time all over again. Very annoying and unacceptable.

Even using the original recommended cables, the quality remains poor. For your own safety and peace of mind, I do not recommend this product.

As far as functionality goes, it’s a high quality system that’s incredibly easy to set up. It functions exactly as intended, and serves all the purposes I need.

There are a few drawbacks, but none are exactly deal breakers for me.
- At nighttime the camera doesn’t work as well and as far as I can tell there’s no mode to change it.
- the camera interacts strangely with LED’s so some signs and headlights seem to be flashing sporadically (quite distracting)
- in my own ignorance, I assumed all the Wolfbox cameras would connect to the App so you can view your recordings there. (That is not the case with this model)
- and if the car is left unused for a couple days while the camera is plugged in it will definitely kill your battery.

Again, not deal breakers. I still use and like the system. But they are features to be aware of when buying.
