    I purchased these for future hiking and camping trips. It is a 12 pack, so I decided to try one packet out to see how it tasted, and it tasted quite alright.

    They also surprisingly have a long shelf life, with the expiry date lasting up until 2043! By comparison, an SOS Food Labs ration pack I bought some while ago was not only slightly heavier and bulkier, but it had only a 5 year shelf life, with its expiry date set to 2028.

    Sure, that's still quite a long time, but it definitely has a much shorter shelf life than this item!

    - Very filling but doesn't make you feel sick
    - Packed in vacuum-packed sets of two. This way you can try it out or only use one "meal's" worth without spoiling the whole brick like most other rations. This is really important to me.

    I was a bit skeptical that they're made in China but so are lots of food products I love (ramen, candy, etc.). The product appears to be very high quality.

    I actually like the taste of these over other Survival bars in the same category. These do not crumble like the others do. Mild chocolate taste, I actually love the taste of these and they taste great with Coffee. The are sealed very well, 2 bars per vacuum sealed pouch. Total 24 bars....12 pouches. Shelf life is great, date on the box I got indicated expiry 2043 and I purchased mine in July 2024. I will buy more just to eat from time to time if I don't feel like making anything to eat as well as adding to my Emergency food storage.
