Well, I have a back porch light, front porch light, and 2 lights for the Garage door, facing the street.. Very typical for the neighborhood.. Problem was, my older lights attracted all kinda flying "bugs" and moths.. etc.. plus I had a bunch of spider webs all the time.. kinda ugly and required cleaning fairly often..
A lot of "Bug lights" on the market, have that yellow tint to them.. These LED's look the same to me, so "what the heck" Just screwed them in a what a difference.. no more bug/moths flying around the lights..
They have a nice bright look to them, so dark spots are kinda a thing of the past.
They match the neighborhood, and I can easily see my driveway, parking at night...
PLUS the LED light is long lasting, its a plastic cover bulb, very little heat generated, won't break upon a drop, and the energy used is a lot smaller than a regular 60W or 100W bulb.. all kinds of win/win on this one.

These LEDs are 60W equivalent bulbs and really light up our patio! Maybe the old bulbs were 40W(?) so there's a noticeable (in a good way!) difference in the amount of light.
Our "back" patio is quite dark and without "city street lights" so we've installed light fixtures wherever possible, and this lights the back door.
The product statement is for "3 hours per day usage" - ours is frequently left on for days at a time - one kid works the late-shift and rarely thinks to shut off the porch light when they come in but this new bulb casts a welcome light bright enough to make the pathway safe.
Shopping for light bulbs didn't used to be such an event, but now days - paying $9 for a light bulb that's biggest selling point is that it "only costs $1 per year in electricity to use" should be celebrated? These DEWENWILS are a great buy!
So, these yellow bulbs at about $3 per bulb in a 4-pack really are a bargain. I did mark the "installation" date on the package just to see how long the bulb lasts, but I'm definitely not tracking the electricity usage.
