First, good thing they put foam around the unit, shippers seem to be not so easy on it. But unit was not damaged and works as it should.
Small, light weight unit. Very easy to get set up and start using. Trigger is not the greatest, but they do have a upgraded one for not much money if i feel the need. That being said, for the price of this kit that does not bother me and to spend a bit more later for the upgrade thats fine with me.
For a hobbyist this is a great little unit, i would recommend to anyone looking for a at home easy use plasma cutter.
Only thing, is the lack of information. unit has two knobs, one speed and one Amperage (current). there is no chart or info to help you dial it in for thickness of material, its not a big issue but it would be nice to have a starting point kind of like welders will give a voltage/wire speed and you can fine tune from there.

The 45 amp 220 volt plasma cutter works much better then the 40 amp 120 volt machine from hitbox that I also have It cuts through 1/4 plate no sweat problem it cut trip the breaker. Prior to getting the 45 I had purchased the “cut 50” machine that worked three times before it broke poor quality compared to the 40 and the 45 is even better . Both machines work fine when powered by my gas generator also .So far the 45 is better machine Cheers

Bought Reboot 45 last year and only opened yesterday. The unit only arcs for split second then temperature light comes on and it shuts off . Replaced all consumables and it does the same thing. Guessing a screwed inverter board made it through testing. I'll try asking �鶹�� but thinking I wasted 250 bucks

Works as advertised. The description and Q&A Section says that this is a high frequency pull the trigger and go machine, but it is not. You still need to touch start it. Not a huge issue, but causes more wear on tips for those hard to reach areas where maintaining distance is difficult. No stand off cups for this machine/torch, only some stupid clamp on wheel thing. Ground clamp is quite short compared to torch.

I tried to post a video of how the machine worked but for some reason it wouldn't post.
I have been a welder/ fabricator for 20+ years and have use all the industrial plasma cutters. I've been wanting one for many years but couldn't pull the trigger on a $1500-$2000 plasma cutter that I'm only going to use a few times per year, so I rolled the dice and bought this machine. I'm glad I did. It's a slick little machine for the weekend hobby welder. You can't beat the value for the money. I know it's made in China, but it's actually a decent piece of machinery.
The ground clamp (or work place clamp for those that have to be specific) is a bit on the chincey side, the cable could be a bigger gauge and maybe a few feet longer but that's really my only complaint. The gun is comfortable to use. The plasma cutter is a touch start but you really don't need to touch the tip to the material when the tip is new and clean. Just hold the tip an inch away from the material you are going to cut, depress and hold the trigger then slowly move the tip toward the material. Once the tip is about an eighth of an inch from the material the arc will strike and you can start cutting. This technique will help with the longevity of the consumables. Keep in mind once the tip gets dirty enough then it is required to touch the tip to the material lightly until you use up the tip and need to change it, then the process starts over again.
This machine cuts through 3/16 like butter and does well with 1/4 also. I have not done 3/8 yet as its advertised to be able to cut up to 3/8. It will cut through 1/2 if you go very slow. It will leave a good amount of slag at the bottom of the cut on 1/2 inch but it will cut it if absolutely need be.
The cart pictured used 3x3 3/16 tubing and the plasm cutter made fast work of cutting my tube since I don't own a band saw.
This machine comes with everything needed to set it up except for an air chuck connection for an air compressor. Click on the pic of the back of the machine and zoom in on the spot where the air connection is and you'll see that I took the next size up hose barb (I believe it's a 3/8. The machine comes with 1/4 inch) I was able to force the 3/8 hose barb in, which helped make a good tight seal, then threaded a female to female connector on so I could thread on the air chuck which was a male style thread. Also, use lots of the provided Teflon tape to ensure you don't have air leaks.
I don't know anything about the customer service as I have not had to contact them, and as for longevity, the remains to be seen. I'm hoping this lasts a long time. Taken car of it should.
The cart it's on is a Harbor Freight $40 cart and I would also advise if you put this on a cart like this, strap it down somehow. I just strapped mine down with a ratchet strap. The machine is about the size of a lunch box and also very light weight so it would be very easy to accidentally knock it over.

*EDIT* I added a couple pictures to show how it cuts. If you look close to the cut of the material in the pic where I'm holding the torch straight on you will see the cut looks to be angled about 45°. To get a straight 90° you have to tilt the torch forward as shown in the other picture.

*UPDATE*. I LOVE this machine. I've been using it now for close to a year and a half and have had no issues with cuts. The only issue I have with this machine is the clear air tubing it comes with doesn't seal the best on the regulator even with a clamp on it, so the air leaks. So, after I'm done cutting for a few min I unhook the air from the machine. I will eventually get a different chunk of air line and replace that clear piece. I just more important things on my plate right now.

I got this for $191 on prime day, and I think it was worth it. I'm not sure I'd pay the regular $240 for what feels like an incomplete machine though. I haven't contacted the seller about any of this, so I can't attest to any sort of service/support value. I should also be clear about my post. I'm not complaining, but pointing out issues I noticed with my purchase. When buying cheap, I know to expect cheap.

Here are the issues I had:

The trigger doesn't attach to the torch. It just hangs there and will fall off if you don't hold it in place. I had to tape mine to the torch. It gives me the impression that it's missing parts.

The air regulator/moisture trap is super leaky. Technically, it works, and they even advertise this as a newer updated regulator, but will probably have to buy a new one.

The air tubing is small, so you have to figure out a way to get a standard 1/4" air hose connected to the machine as there was nothing provided to make this easy.

The manual appears to cover a little bit of many different models, but I don't recall seeing anything about knob settings. The front panel does have PSI suggestions though.

It cuts. I cut about 60" of 11ga and a few inches of 3/8".

Makes nice cuts for the price. The plastic cover over the torch hose/cable is really cheap and I'll probably cover it with a cloth one. I got really frustrated with the air hose supplied for connecting to the regulator and inlet. It was leaking air everywhere because the supplied hose barbs are too small for the hose ID. I fudged it and used some butyl sealant and got it to work.
