  • Yes. The vertical grip on the SuperPole will need to be shortened to allow the SuperBar to be installed higher on the pole.

  • There are 8 locking positions around the SuperBar - one very 45 degrees. The spring ring is used to stop the set screws from backing out once they have been installed.

  • The load rating is based on the user’s weight, but the product is not intended to support entire full body weight. Our research has shown that the amount of lateral force generated by an individual pulling from sit-to-stand motion is apx 5-30%.

  • For most applications, the SuperPole is held in place by jackscrew expansion between the floor base plate and ceiling top plate. In the event of heavy duty use, it is possible screwing the ceiling top plate to wood studs, for extra security.

    This product is sturdy and very good quality, however the instructions for assembly are awful. The pictures don't accurately depict the the steps in which things need to be installed - removing a star for that reason. When I ordered I only received 1 of 2 boxes, 鶹 customer service was useless and their only solution was to return and order again in the hopes that both boxes would be delivered. Not wanting to waste my time and energy returning the item, I contacted Healthcraft directly and they were extremely helpful and shipped overnight (Fedex )the missing box from their warehouse directly at no extra charge. I will be ordering directly again from this vendor - I'm very satisfied with their products and service

    Wonderful product, but in some ways poorly conceived. The gripping surfaces are covered in a porous silicone material. This often stays wet, despite drying because moisture penetrates deeply in the holes.

    These grips get routinely covered by an orange bacteria, that only hypochlorous acid or hydrogen peroxide will kill; and that is a temporary fix because saturation is impossible.

Contrary to what is said here, the instructions show putting it to span 2 ceiling studs or along a single stud for stability.

    I didnot pay attention to the pole height. I have standard height ceilings 91 inches. the pole height starts at 93inches. Beacuse the pole can extend several inches I never thought it would be too tall . It is exactly what I needed, but now I have to return it... unnecessary cost.
