I bought this for my 6 year old son as an add-on thought for learning at home and for the price of the unit it seemed worth the shot.
Right out of the box he took to it. The app is easy to follow and loaded with fun interactive options. My 11 year daughter has also found it fun to use. The various interactive options from geography, world cultures, ecosystems, wild life and much more, allows for both educational use and "games" as my kids say. However, even the "games" they have are educational and I find my kids learning from every aspect of the app and globe.

My only comment would be that if they added the country names on globe itselft it would be nice. Although teh globe is loaded with fun colors and images not having at least the names of the countries on the globe seems like a small miss.

Overall, for the quality and the amount of options with the app, this is a great way to get your kids learning while having fun.

I am excited to use this in my grade 1 classroom after exploring the Globe with my 18 month daughter.

I loved how realistic the 3D technology was as you almost felt like you could pet the animals on the globe. The AR globe lets you click on the animal, monument or symbol to learn more about it. This is a great toy for kids as it reads the information to the kids which is amazing since many young children struggle to read long paragraphs.

The Orboot AR Globe also includes a real life looking passport and stickers so you can stick them in as you visit the destinations. The globe came in separate pieces but was super easy to assemble and seems durable against toddler hands. The graphics are fun and bright to engage a toddlers attention encouraging them to explore with help.

I loved the hands on immersive technology that the Orboot Globe offered. The globe sparks their imagination and curiosity. It helps build knowledge, linguistic and cognitive skills. Makes for an amazing and unique christmas gift for kids and is ideal for aged 4-10, but can be used with as young as 2 with assistance.

I gave this to my 4 year old for his birthday and it has been a huge hit!

The toy comes with a really cute globe that has pictures of various animals and monuments instead of the traditional country borders (bonus - really cool room decor). Once you install an app on your phone/tablet, you allow access to your camera and it automatically synchs with the globe when it registers the little stars on the globe. Various things will pop up on the screen in a virtual reality simulation. The child can move around the globe and will view different things depending on what part of the world they are hovering over. It��s the coolest thing ever - I was so impressed when I saw it!

You can explore animals, monuments, cultures, food, flags and much more! Your child can click on the images that pops up and it brings them into another screen that is sort of like an encyclopedia with various facts and little games.

I like that this is an interactive game and is educational, so it doesn��t feel as though he��s just blindly sitting behind a screen; he��s actually learning!

The only thing I would caution is to ensure your tablet or phone is compatible with the device before purchasing as the app may not work on some older models.

Definitely a great educational toy for kids (I��d say around 4 is a great age to start).

We love the Orboot globe! It se wonderful that we can set it for 3 different age levels for our littles! In the video above we have it set for our child going into grade 1. I love how one of the tabs in the app (called MYSTERIES) has stories that you follow along while you explore the globe. The vocabulary is so rich and it is interactive with the globe. We��re learning so much together. So many facts about the variety of images on the globe (e.g., cuisine, animals, monuments). Such a great way to learn through play!
I also love that once you have the app downloaded on your device, you don��t need the internet for your littles to play!
The passport and stickers are a lovely way to make the play even more ��hands on��.
