I initially purchased this keyboard for my 3 and 2 year olds. It is large (around 5 feet). They absolutely love it! They can both go on it and dance around. There is multiple options for different sound effects and you can record/playback songs you made. It comes with pre programs beats as well. Needless to say, my 10 and 12 year olds love ot as well. Me and my husband even played with it. My only dislike is when the keyboard is not played with for around 5 minutes, it goes back to default settings. So if you turned to keyboard down to a comfortable listening tone, it will get quite loud again and younger children may get startled. Other than that, it is a great product and fun for the whole family.

I bought this for ourselves, which is just as well because I’d be annoyed if somebody had give it to us for our toddler.

It really does turn on very loud just as the reviews say. The mat itself makes rustly plastic sounds

Very slippery against the carpet or if wearing socks. And folded up the unit is bigger than expected for storage. It would fill an average reusable grocery bag.

Haven’t had a chance to see if it can make nice sounds, since my toddler mostly just sits on it, tries to do somersaults, hit her back on on the hard plastic block which is user error but still worth noting, and pretty much wants to do anything but stand on it and use her feet properly. Definitely not a basic introduction to piano keys and their notes as I had hoped.

Not very good polyphony from my limited time experimenting with it.
