Not sure why anyone would expect this to function correctly, i took it apart and the rubber gasket was too big requires glue to make it go back together and the jet size is not printed on the side of of the jet, ran lean required modification i ported the jet and now it runs a bit rich and wastes fuel its important especially for air cooled lawnmowers to have the correct air fuel mixture, this carb is NOT adjustable, use a wide band o2 sensor to check along the a laser temp Guage, if you use this on the smallest engine it will probably be running rich enough to cause harm from emmisions co2 poisoning, and on the biggest it will run lean and cause a fire potentially, the exhaust glows red

I bought this carburetor to replace the old one on my small engine, and overall, I’m very happy with it. The build quality is solid. My engine started right up after installing it, and it runs smoothly now.

Installation Tips:
1. Turn off the fuel supply and remove the old carburetor carefully.
2. Check the gasket fitment before securing the new carb.
3. Attach the fuel line, throttle linkage, and bolts as needed.
4. Prime it, start the engine, and adjust the mixture if necessary.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the included hose was a little short for my setup, but it was an easy fix. Otherwise, this is a fantastic replacement carb for the price!

I liked this right away. I felt like I had gotten a good deal, but my lawnmower didn't agree. Hard to start, no power, engine died frequently. If left alone for a bit engine started right up but no power and if I gave it the gas engine would die and be very hard to restart. To me that felt like the carb wasn't getting fuel fast enough, like the float was not right. I know better than to take apart a product that is in line to be returned but I wanted keep this carb. I pulled the bowl off and the float hadn't been put in correctly. I corrected the problem and after I got it back together the engine has been running fine. I don't blame the manufacturer for the problem. In something as complex and prescise as a carb mistakes can happen. I'm glad that I hung in with this product.
