- Reviewed in Canada on December 22, 2023Verified PurchaseMidway through my deck I became disappointed in the costs for RSS screws going up and issues in getting the sizes needed when I needed them.
So went deep searching on 鶹 and elsewhere.
These were the best I found for price, availability, and as I found out installing ... quality.
Drove fine with a Ryobi impact driver and had no issues with stripping or fitting bit in to the head.
The coating on them appears superior to other brands I looked at ... but only time will tell.
For the cost and what you get ... I don't think they can be beat.

Two boxes with foam in between. Not necessary and a waste of resources.

- Reviewed in Canada on October 11, 2024Verified PurchaseA 1/4" screw is a #14, these screws are actually a #12 so they are smaller in diameter than what is listed in the add, also the picture in the add shows a screw that has "Climatec" coating on it but the screws I received are only painted which will corrode in treated lumber. It looks as though they used a picture of a genuine GRK screw in the add. Very misleading on both size and coating.

- Reviewed in Canada on July 27, 2023Verified PurchaseBought these after paying a lot more for similar screws. A few important things: first, I was suspect that these were cheaply made. First thing I did was try and break one. They bend like a nail, they don't snap like a cheap screw, bending is what you want in a structural screw, so that's good. Second, these are NOT 1/4" shank, the 1/4" is the outer diameter of the threads, the shank is actually 11/32", so considerably smaller. Lastly, all the screws I recieved have scratches and dings on the shank, which have penetrated the coating leaving bare metal visible, which will certainly compromise corrosion performance long term. Coating, fit and finish of the washer heads looks great, so at least the heads won't visibly rust. All that being said, the price is right at about $0.25 a screw.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice screws
Verified PurchaseI do a lot of outdoor wood working projects and I use a lot of Wood Pro screws. They are consistently of good quality, well priced and available in a lot of sizes and configurations. These are heavy duty 1/4 inch screws, seem solid. I like using these washer heads to stop pull through on soft cedar and the color blends well with cedar.
They claim the coating is weather resistant and rated for ACQ Pressure Treated Lumber. I have used it extensively in treated Lumber and they appear the same today as they did when I applied them in my very wet area. I trust these screws to hold and will probably out survive me
The included bit is serviceable, But I am a bit of a bit snob, and use a personally preferred bit and save these for "loaners". But they grip well and work, But I have not used them extensively to report on longevity. Look at it as a freebie and not be disappointed

5.0 out of 5 stars Ideal for Heavy duty construction
Verified PurchaseMy local hardware outlet, a big box store which I do not identify here had nothing in stock like this item. I very much like the pan head design that incorporates a washer which allowed me to ensure a solid fitting of some heavy duty plastic legs to a bench that I was constructing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't find 'em around here... but that washer is worth a bunch... doesn't bust up the wood.
Verified PurchaseThese little guys are pricey, but excellent for strength without punching a hole under every head. And if you can place them symmetrically... they become decorative.
