    What a great surprise to receive an item that surpasses one's hope in terms of quality! The frame was simple to assemble, very solid and with more than enough points of adjustment. In addition, the fact that it can just be folded up for storage or transport is perfect. So much more substantial and functional than the ones which require installing on a toilet.

    Needed to add a method to help raise up and lower down to the toilet seat. I chose this product based on reviews and concur mostly with what users have said on quality of product/sturdiness and value.

    Assembly & Build
    Very easy - all parts click into place. TIP - I found the back piece with the double bars was easier to connect/manipulate if you are sitting and it is turned to you - you can push pull a lot easier than standing up. Tubes are very robust - I cannot see them failing.

    Adjustments
    There are click points so you can adjust the height (higher from start) and also to increase or decrease the width. In addition the front bars will SWIVEL(/pivot) but attached to the main frame are two clips which allow you to LOCK the bars in place permanently.

    Usage
    The idea is you put it around the toilet and the back feet are SUCTION and attach to the floor. I am not sure how far you can get with that as all floors are different. Unfortunately, where I am the tile may not be smooth enough but more importantly, their choice of smaller tiles increases the odds of hitting a grout line and because of that the unit will never stick to the ground. No matter how I adjusted it - the unit never secured or could secure - even if the suction cups worked. (I did find when I moved them to a place where one could stick - it appeared to stay - but no idea for how long).
    A possible solution may be to increase the click points, however, that could introduce weakness at the back now.

    I will see if this works and if there are safety issues I may need to return.

    One of the nicest features is that (A) it doesn't connect to the toilet and (B) it can be moved away easily. When there are messes or you just want to clean properly these two aspects really shine with this product.

    This item may come in a little box but it turns into a very useful item. Easy instructions to follow and it's snap the parts together and you're all set! In the apartment I moved into, the toilet is very low and because I have back and knee problems, I use this to get onto and back off of the toilet with little effort. It has large suction cups on the back to keep it in place, the side rails can move out for extra space, it it is easily height adjustable. It takes the pressure off my back and knees. Highly recommend this product!

The booklet directions and photos made it very easy to snap the parts together. It took less than 10 minutes to put the pieces together. The arm rails have a rubberised cushion to prevent your hands sliding as you get up. The suction cups at the back and the rubber caps on the front legs provide a secure method for raising yourself. The two side rails can be placed close or far apart depending on the individual needs. Once pressure is applied they no longer move. I have turned them in slightly for the picture. The back rail should fit any toilet seat and yet doesn’t interfere with closing the seat cover.     Worked good for the shower only thing was the inside of the tubes were not rust proof, then the rubber suction type cups on one in stopped the water from draining therefore water sits in the tube and when you move it rusty water comes out of the holes that the adjustment pens fit in and makes a nasty mess. if it’s not for water use it probably work great and it would be ok.     My wife is disabled. There are a number of products on the market to help people sit down and rise from the toilet. Some are cumbersome and/or need to be attached to the toilet, which also makes them somewhat permanent and unsightly, especially when company comes over.     This was easy to assemble and place behind the seat. The only thing that I don't like is that the arms, while convenient to fold up, the arms don't stay put when a person is unsteady. The feet slide on the floor, so I had to put double sided tape in order to sturdy the front feet. It helps, but is still wobbly.
