I have now been using the new clamp for a few weeks. I had previously used the Freedom and Comfort clamps and one other brand. You are left to your initiative in locating and testing clamps after surgery and discovering the leakage issue that follows prostate surgery. The new clamp is smaller yet very adjustable. To that end, it takes time and experimentation to get the settings right for you. I have pretty much found the best settings for me and I am happy with the support this provides. I am still active and often have excess leakage as a result but this clamp does allow better comfort and minimizes leaking as much as possible. Unfortunately, I am in month 9 of recovery and still leaking quite a bit. I am still performing my required Kegel exercises daily and hoping I will eventually get to the desired objective of " clamp freedom" but in the interim, this is a huge help in allowing me to have a mostly normal lifestyle.

10/07/24- Update - last week the original Versa clamp broke near the lock site. It was then 4 weeks old. I contacted the company and reported the situation. Within hours I had a reply asking me to provide the order number and my specific address details. They were extremely cordial and supportive. The replacement clamp arrived within 72 hours at no cost. This company stands behind their excellent products and is customer-centric. Further, the Versa clamp is now my preferred unit. It is smaller, way to adjust and works well for stopping leaking. It allows me to remain active keeping up my house and the maintenance required.

I am very appreciative of the product quality the guarantee the company backs it with and their exemplary service.

12/12/2024- I had 2 of the Versa Clamps crack near the locking site. The company were extremely helpful and suggested that I may be tightening too much. I suggested I tighten as comfortable but would review their very helpful suggestions on use. They shipped me 2 replacement clamps right away indicating their helpful approach to customers, and their very helpful suggestions. I am still in recovery after 12 months due to other complications but am still hopeful of recovery in due course. In the meantime, this clamp is my salvation and the company is 100% behind their products. I do appreciate their attention to customer service and applaud their quality products.

Update -03-08-2025-I continue to have incontinence despite 14 months of dedicated Physiotherapy and daily exercise. Complications developed early but are now resolved. I am now potentially facing possible correction surgery but yet to be determined.
That said, I continue to use the versa clamp as it is still the most comfortable and allows longer wearing time, a big consideration. Yes, there is still an issue with the locking mechanism as it continues to break after 2 months, maximum, even with careful use and cleaning. I am still hoping the manufacturer will find a correction to resolve and not simply discontinue the product. That would be a catastrophic situation for me. Thank you Lendorf for this product and please work to resolve the breakage issue.

After surgery 3 years ago the original confidence clamp was a great find and did indeed boost my confidence that I could resume travelling again. Over 3 years I broke 3 which was disappointing but understandable given the forces exerted on them.

I just ordered another confidence clamp and also ordered the new style Versa clamp. I was shocked at the disappointment between the two. The Versa clamp was very stiff to operate. At one point I was sure that I'd snap it before it released. I understand the need for it to be strong and not break but this design seems to have gone too far. Also, I'm a very experienced clamp user but none of the adjustments worked for me. The amount of leakage was unacceptable.

So, I'm disappointed and will return it.

Terrible waste of time & money. Returned product. Seemed to be a more solid h comfortable alternative. Luckily I had bed pad in place, but I still woke up very wet 4 times. Loved the idea of the design versitality. Very hopeful for a comfortable device. I tried to clamp as tight as possible that became most uncomfortable. Manipulating the catch was very impossible when it was clamped so tight. What made this impossible was that I have very arthritic hands. This isn't a procedure you can share with anyone else. I didn't ever try to wear the Clamp while out and active. That would have been a total disaster.

I don't need to say that my encounter with their customer service people was most pleasant and congenial.
