A decent solution for anyone looking for a setup with good build quality that would also appreciate the additional lighting aspects.

I'd suggest this would be best for someone looking for their first soundbar or for a bedroom as it's not a top end audiophile system but it's also not one of the cheap nasty budget ones either. It sits in a mid-range category.

Turned up it sounds good and only clips if you push it too far. The RGB lighting is a nice touch too with a few effects you can add to enhance the lighting during yoru viewing time.
The app control is a nice touch too.

Overall a decent system.

I got the ULTIMEA Apollo S70 to use with desktop PC as it didn't have speakers and have been happily impressed with the sound quality!

I primarily use my desktop PC for gaming and music composing and although I generally tend to wear headphones for monitoring and mixing audio, the Apollo S70 is doing a great job of allowing me to hear my mixes in surround sound in a larger room. I've also been pleasantly surprised by the sound capability where it comes to things like first person shooters and horror games where being able to hear not just footsteps or reloads but the direction of the sound as well is important.

I really like that I can set up the sound bar either in the horizontal configuration as one long bar or vertically where the speakers are separated and I can configure the RGB lighting to add ambience or increase the spatial surround sound by placing the speakers at either end of my desk with the central unit directly under my main monitor. I used the HDMI cable to connect the speakers via a dock/hub that's attached to the underside of my desk.

It was really easy to set up the sound bar in both configurations and I appreciate the vast amount of EQ presets that are available via the app as I can adjust these on the fly when I'm listening to music or checking my mixes. The Apollo S70 does struggle a little bit when it comes to bass as there's no dedicated subwoofer but this isn't a big issue for me, the mid and treble are excellent!

For a slightly budget sound bar that can look either extremely subtle and "barely there" as well as having the option of the vertical setup with the RGB lights, which can also be customised via the app, the ULTIMEA Apollo S70 is a fantastic choice and I'd absolutely recommend it!

This is a good value speaker set from Ultimea that has the added benefit of being transformed easily into either separate components or a single soundbar. The twist and pull system works well and stands are included if you wish to stand the left and right channels vertically. This positioning is best in my opinion if you are planning to use the LED light effects that they are capable of as I found in the single soundbar configuration, the light bounced back at my TV screen.

Cables are included as is the remote, (though no batteries for it sadly - you need two AAA's).

The build quality is perfectly acceptable at this price point. It feels fit for purpose and the glossy black plastic used for the speakers is good but the speakers do feel lightweight in the hand, and the matte black plastic stands definitely feel within budget.

Sound quality from it is acceptable. There is no official DTS or Dolby support noted on the box, but sound is OK. It's not crystal clear, audiophile grade, with the vocals somewhat muffled and a slight "hollowness" from the overall sound, but this is a sub £100 system (at the time of writing). Also because of the configuration (there are no separate rear surround speakers), the surround effect isn't really there. I think it's better to think of this as more of a 3.0 system in my opinion.

Connections are varied enough with an HDMI, 3.5mm Aux, Optical as well as a Bluetooth option. Pairing the speaker to my phone via Bluetooth was a breeze. The supplied connecting cables are easy to use and clearly labelled. There is even the connection for a subwoofer output so that if you have a sub, you can add the "point one" to the "5.1 system".

Overall then, I think this is suited to those looking for a budget friendly system, who aren't overly worried about detailed rear surround effects and also want the bonus of integrated disco/mood lighting. I think it would be ideal for a teenagers room.
