Yes, please Must connect two USB C to A cables for better Power Supply and Data Transfer. If you connect high-power equipment like Hard Disk Drives, please connect the USB C power cable to work more stably.

Yes, it can, but you need to connect the power cable (USB-C charging) to the power source for stable performance.
Can HDMI switch or USB switch be used separately?
