Other HDMI splitters are such a pain, their power supplies don��t have super-solid connections so I have to use tape to angle the connection, and the inputs sometimes become weird; especially using a variety of different types of displays.
This splitter works as designed. The only issue is that ��standard�� usb c cables aren��t super-reliable to power it, but the OEM cables that come with it insert with a click and perform very well and stand up to the ��bang the table test��.

Its common to encounter venues and installations that have multiple, different spec screens. the EDID emulation/switch on the box literally saves the day in these situations. Being able to hook all the venue's screens up and 'trick' the source that they're all one of the same type will save you hours of tearing your hair out. Additional to this I suggest where you can to use fibre optic cables for runs over 5m long to avoid those rare, but real coaxial cable weirdness.
