    Movie itself is fantastic. Better than all the Transformer movies previous in the modern era. I'm taking 1 star off because the disc itself seems to have some kind of issues. While playing it will freeze for a microsecond causing a jump in video. It also affects the audio. This must be a manufacturing defect. All my other discs still play fine so there is nothing wrong with my player.

    A stunning visual achievement that finally tells a Transformers story on the silver screen the way they're meant to be told: with a solid and well-written emphasis on the characterization of all the classic Autobots and Decepticons that made the franchise such a phenomenon in the first place. Brian Tyree Henry, in particular, gives an exemplary and moving performance, portraying the gradual and tragic descent into darkness of D-16.
