  A stunning visual achievement that finally tells a Transformers story on the silver screen the way they're meant to be told: with a solid and well-written emphasis on the characterization of all the classic Autobots and Decepticons that made the franchise such a phenomenon in the first place. Brian Tyree Henry, in particular, gives an exemplary and moving performance, portraying the gradual and tragic descent into darkness of D-16.
  
  Deserves to be nominated for Best Animated Feature at the next Academy Awards!
