    It sure how to rate the product as I am returning it after finding out it is safe for pretty much everything including dogs and all kinds of rodents BUT the main ingredient in the product is extremely toxic to cats. As I have neighbours who leave their cats outside and they of course come and hunt in my wood pile …. It wouldn’t be too safe for them. Trying to not have ticks to protect myself and my indoor cat. Not trying to kill the cats who freeload in my yard.

    Living in an area that is infiltrated with ticks, while these have not completely eliminated them, it has absolutely reduced the population drastically. Having 4 dogs (all on Bravecto, not to worry) we previously pulled off at least 7-10 per week, now we are down to maybe 1 a week.

    These aren't 100% and they take time - at least a full year to kick in. But they worked for us. Three years ago our dogs, when put in into their run, would return with ticks on them - just from being out on the lawn. So, we did make some landscape changes and started putting these tubes out twice a year as instructed. We had no ticks this year.
    I would say I've found that placing these in wood cribs, or crevices in rocks, or under stuff to keep them dry works best. The mice don't seem to want to take the batting if it's wet.
