TOPENS TEW3 Vehicle Sensor Exit Wand - Highlights
Smart Vehicle Exit Wand
- The wand senses changes in the earth magnetic field caused by mass metal movements.
- It triggers the gate opener to open the gate anytime the vehicles drive through the sensor's magnetic field of 0.61m to 3.66m.
- The larger car or the faster driving speed will bring the higher sensitivity.
Multiple Applications
- This wand is suitable for the household, courtyard, farm, ranch and other commercial / industrial sites.
- The exit probe works excellently with various gate operators, and detects vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATV's, etc.).

- The probe is specially designed to work in excessively heat, cold and humid environment, and it requires no maintenance for outdoor use.
- Cable gland prevents water from entering into the wand and avoids cable damages, ensuring a long-lasting performance.

More Convenient
- Wire directly to the control board of the gate motor.
- The probe can be directly buried underground to save unnecessary labor cost compared with the loop coil model. No earth grounding required.
- Coming with a 15-meter directly burial cable (a PVC jacket 5-core cable), the probe is allowed to be trenched and placed next to the drive.
- Prewired weather-resistant wire and easy-to-follow instruction are included for your peace of mind.

Key Installation Points & Note
- Install TEW3 away from any power lines to avoid interrupting detection signal.
- Generally install the wand 7.5m to 30m away from the gate, and bury 5cm deep from ground and 20cm from driveway edge.
- It can be placed up to 30 meters away from the gate. Shield wire (5C x 0.75mm²) is recommended for extension.
- The wand may be activated automatically in strong magnetic field or by lawn mower, tools, coins, or any other metal objects if the sensitivity is set too high. May not be used as a safety device.
